Staying with Mandy & Mike has been a real pleasure every time. We’ve been back five times over the past few years, and it’s a welcoming place in both winter and summer.

The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable. There’s a cosy shared living room, which gives the place a home-away-from-home feel. The host couple were really friendly and helpful, and it was easy to reach the train and hiking paths. A great base for exploring around Vallorcine. I’d love to come back.

The views are beautiful, and the free train service to Chamonix and nearby villages is great. Breakfasts were very good, and getting to the Swiss border by train or car was handy. The rooms are basic, but the hosts were excellent and very hospitable.
