The room was so dark at night, with no annoying lights left on that I couldn't switch off, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I had one of the best nights of sleep I can remember. It's a charming 12th-century chateau, and the manager was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and full of knowledge about the building's history. Breakfast was a lovely French spread in the morning. I loved my time here. If you're choosing between places, just book this one. You won't regret it.

The hostess was an absolute ray of sunshine, and breakfast was generous and really good, with juice and homemade jam. The Consul's room was spacious and comfortable, with perfect bedding. The castle itself is truly beautiful. It was a little dim and slightly chilly in the room, though it was between seasons, so that may have been a one-off. I highly recommend this magical place.

I came across this place by chance and stayed the night in a little castle that felt like it belonged to another time, with thick stone walls. The welcome felt warm and genuine, and my room was huge, with lovely, enchanting decor.

The owner has a charming personality, and the place feels calm and welcoming. It's a magnificent 12th-century castle, fully restored and surrounded by landscaped grounds, a lovely invitation to relax.
