Villas Sun Rock

SunRock was a great experience, especially for families. It was clean, well located, and had a pool near the beach. The kitchen had plenty of cooking equipment, and there’s a great restaurant next door, but there’s no food service, so stock up on groceries. Restaurant service can be slow around here, so go before you’re hungry, take it easy, and have a drink. March was hot and humid, so bring bug spray and drink plenty of water. We weren’t given face towels, but that was a small issue overall.

Good spot for exploring Martinique if you have a car. I thought the price was a bit steep for the “villa”.

The villa made for a wonderful two-week holiday with our two children, and I’d happily book it again if we return to Martinique. Anthony even let us stay later on our last day, which worked out well with our evening flight. The south of the island is a beautiful area, and the location made it easy to get around by car. Lovely coves such as Anse Noire were about 20 to 30 minutes away. One thing that could improve the stay is having small guest towels as well as bath towels. That would also use less water when washing them. Mosquitoes were a real problem at night and interrupted our sleep. Some mosquito control and a screen on the patio door would make the terrace more comfortable. This deserves attention, particularly for people with allergies.
