The bed was comfortable and the reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was a letdown, though. They ran out of bread and took over ten minutes to bring more, and what they served wasn't good. Good bread is a basic part of a continental breakfast and usually available in plenty, so it's a shame they chose part-baked factory bread.

The restaurant had a nice selection of really good food, and we felt welcome throughout our stay. Our room was simple, but clean and comfortable. We'd happily recommend it.

For somewhere simple and budget-friendly, this is hard to beat. The town is quiet and friendly, the rooms are very clean, and the mattresses are good.

The half-board meals were excellent, with a different menu every day. We spent a week here and got a very warm welcome from the owners, who were welcoming and accommodating throughout. Thanks again. We'd gladly come back and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The dessert was very good, and the service was impeccable. We hadn't booked, and although every restaurant in town was full, Vintage found us a table. The staff were genuinely kind and gave good wine recommendations. The salmon burger was dry, and so was the squid ink bun, so I'd suggest trying something else on the menu.
