Residence Chez Marraine Bertili

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It's surrounded by nature but close to some of Guadeloupe's best beaches, so the location worked really well for exploring the island.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The owners were really helpful, and the apartment was clean and well equipped. It's easy to get around on foot, by car, or by motorbike, and reach places all over. You can walk along the coast to Le Gosier, passing the mangroves, where you might spot green turtles. Sant Felix has a little harbor restaurant, then a lovely beach with a coral reef. The bakery 200 meters from the residence has cappuccino and croissants for an Italian-style breakfast. There's a pharmacy, greengrocer, and grocery store nearby too. I'll be back soon!

We were welcomed like family, and the location was fantastic. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the pool has tables and chairs for a relaxing meal. It's a few kilometers from the beaches at Petit Havre Sainteanne and Gosier. We'll come back as soon as we can, maybe at Christmas!

We slept comfortably, with the air conditioning keeping the room cool at night. The apartment was small, a bit dated, and didn't block much sound, though the pool area was lovely, with enough tables for all the apartments. There were hardly any other guests while we were there, so it was very peaceful. Inside, we had a refrigerator, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, walk-in shower, microwave, and some dishes.
