We spent two weeks at Chalet Socali in July 2025 with our family, two adults and two teenagers, and it was just right for us. We especially liked the mountain views and the location just outside the center of Le Grand Bornand. The chalet was clean when we arrived and had all the comforts we needed to relax, including great beds, a dishwasher, an oven, and a washing machine. We also had lots of lovely sunny evenings on the terrace :-).

We love the area for walking and the adventures we enjoy, and Le Grand Bornand is a pretty, friendly village. Not many people speak English, though. This was our third visit to Chalet Socali. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and easy to keep that way. The beds were comfortable, it was warm throughout, and the shower was great.

We spent two memorable weeks here and are very grateful. Chalet Socali is just right for four adults, with a thoughtful design and all the equipment we needed. The bedding is high quality, the bathroom modern, and everything was exceptionally clean on arrival. The terrace feels like a dream, especially if you love BBQs. The location also makes a great base for exploring the lakes and mountains of Haute-Savoie and Savoie. Chrystelle was an outstanding host, professional and very responsive.

We had a lovely family Christmas in this modern, beautifully laid-out chalet. Set at the edge of the woods, it has a commanding view across the valley and is well insulated. It’s a relaxing place to stay, while the amenities of Le Grand Bornand are still easy to reach. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful two weeks in this beautiful, practical chalet, and would gladly return if we’re in the area again. The furnishings are carefully chosen, everything was spotless, and the extra bathroom in the bedroom is a nice touch of luxury, though we barely used it. Le Grand Bornand is a great base for hikes and excursions, with everything you need in the village. The path up from the parking area is quite steep, but the description mentioned it, so we came prepared. It’s paved, and safe to walk on in any weather. Thanks so much for everything!
