Everything is walkable, so you don't even need a car. The beach is a minute away, and shops including a SPAR supermarket, tobacconist, and restaurants are close by. The residence is quiet, clean, and in an ideal location.

The area is beautiful and quiet, with the beach right in front of the house. But I'd never rent a holiday flat from the API agency in Grau-du-Roi again. At €85 a day, it was what I'd expect, but bed linen and towels cost another €15 per person to rent. The apartment was filthy and dusty everywhere. I sent photos of my complaints, but the agency didn't respond. They expect a thorough clean before checkout, or they'll charge €100. Judging by the comments, this agency isn't an exception. It's a shame they don't take complaints seriously and seem to prefer thinking a customer is just looking for a fight.

Some apartments have a lovely view of the sea and sunset. It's a beautiful residence by the seaside, with nice balconies.

Being right on the beach is the only good thing about it. Otherwise, it's nothing special. The place is very far from everything, and getting to La Grande-Motte means going all the way around. There are a few shops, but they're closed at the start of the off-season. The mosquitoes were horrible. The town did nothing. We called the town hall every day for 10 days, until they brushed us off. They refused to act because it wasn't yet the scheduled date for mosquito control. We were eaten alive, with dozens of bites on our faces and our bodies deformed. You step outside and you're eating mosquitoes. I had to go out fully dressed and covered up, with a hood and sunglasses. The walls in these old buildings are paper thin, so you hear absolutely everything. When owners start spring renovations in the first quarter, don't rent here. You feel as if the person using the drill is in your own house.
