Port Royal - Goélette

We had a lovely week here. The beach and shops are only a two-minute walk away, and the apartment was clean and well cared for. It worked really well for us and our two children. There’s private parking at the residence, and the owner was attentive and easy to reach. I’d happily recommend it.

I’m standing by this review and not hiding anything. I booked for €137, then cancelled just two minutes later, only to get a message saying €450 would be taken from my card as a deposit. That makes €600 tied up for a reservation. Even if the booking couldn’t be refunded, a small gesture of goodwill would have helped. Thanks for that very “goodwill.” I’ll spare you the rest of my comment so I don’t get rude, but I’ll be sure to give this place plenty of publicity.

We were delighted with our stay and would gladly come back. The owners were very accommodating, and the studio had everything we needed for our family of four. It’s a short walk to both the beach and the town center, in a quiet, secure building set in a large wooded park. There’s a small balcony that’s lovely for breakfast, plus a reserved space in the residence parking lot.

It was clean, well equipped, and set in quiet, pleasant surroundings. A lovely little place for a family, with the beach very close by. I’d definitely recommend it!
