A lovely beachfront residence north of Port Camargue, with views toward Grau du Roi and La Grande Motte...

The building's original name was "L'ESPAR," like a sailboat mast. Its axis and projecting central section are marked by the sea-facing façade, continuing the nautical theme of the neighboring Trinquette, Foc, and Beaupré residences, together forming something like a quadriga. So why call it "LE GOLFE"? It's a playful jab from the developer at Balladur, who had ordered the building rotated. In his plans for the development zone, the midpoint of the sea-facing façade points toward the SUNSET at the SUMMER SOLSTICE. And the midpoint of the sea-facing façade of the BEAUPRÉ points toward the SUNRISE at the SUMMER SOLSTICE...

'The Pink Flamingos' is a really beautiful trail. The mosquitoes are the one issue, though, swarming all over.
