The big room and all the appliances made the place decent value for money. We had a small kitchen, useful with our 9-month-old baby, plus a travel cot and mattress as requested when booking. There was just about everything you might need, from a blender-like blender to a vacuum cleaner. The house was generally clean, with no dust, but I got a general feeling of poor care: I left a cardboard pasta package on the kitchen table, and the next day, when I picked it up, some paper had stuck to the table and tore. The instructions came by text, so getting into the property was easy. I don't remember being told about all the stairs leading to the apartment, though. The stairs inside are narrow and almost spiral, which made the suitcases difficult. The front door isn't armored. The area seemed quiet, if not especially beautiful. We always drove 5-6 minutes to get to the center.

We spent a few days in Dominique's peaceful apartment, and the comfort was especially welcome after long outings. In the evenings, we could hear only the courtyard fountain, like a stream in the green countryside. Inside, the place felt like a little paradise: spotlessly clean, carefully maintained by a real housekeeper, with all the kitchen equipment and appliances provided and working. The decor was tasteful and harmonious. We had sunshine every day, despite our friends laughing at our Normandy holiday plans and saying it always rains. We'll tell them about the region whenever they want to visit. The landscape was lush and green, and we'd love to come back for the many tourist treasures still to see. We even bought a postcard with the song

A cozy, comfortable cottage right in the city center, furnished with good taste and everything we needed. We'll be happy to come back.
