Quality Aparthotel Le Havre les docks

People paying so much to live in this senior residence should be able to have some peace and quiet, but they don’t. When everything seems geared toward making money, the chain’s managers ought to find capable staff to look after the residents who pay these high prices. It just keeps getting worse. Poor France.

We had a very good stay and will return. The staff were lovely, thank you, and see you in two years for the next deckchair 😊😊😊 We came for the deckchair café l'or and could do everything on foot, since it’s very close to the port, which was a big plus. The room was in a senior residence, but that didn’t bother us. It was very spacious, though it didn’t look like the photos, and it could have been much worse. The bedding was excellent and we slept well. It was quiet, and parking was available, though you have to pay for it. We did think the price was a bit high for what you get. There weren’t any bedside lamps, just ceiling bulbs without pendants.

The bathroom was filthy, and there was mold inside the kitchen cupboards. We also found hair and fur in the bed, while the area underneath it clearly hadn’t been vacuumed. The whole room was very dirty. The elevator was scary too, with its noise and the way it opened so slowly.

We left soon after arriving because the place didn’t feel right for a hotel stay, and we were very disappointed. It’s actually a senior living residence, something that wasn’t disclosed when we booked. There were elderly residents in the hallways and at reception. The property also didn’t match the description we’d been given. We don’t recommend it at all.
