It's a fun spot for a beach day, though it can get a bit crowded. There was some debris in the water, and we couldn't find anywhere to change into swimming shorts or shower afterwards. Those were only minor inconveniences and didn't spoil our visit.
The water is easy for small children to get into, and there’s a big car park close by. The sand feels lovely underfoot, and the water is really clean. Great beach.
Finding parking was a plus, and the water itself is very clean. The beach was still a bit disappointing: no showers, bins, or other facilities, and hotels and bars have taken over parts of it with private areas. There’s no shade except beneath the pines, where the sand is covered in needles. There were also too many jet skis and similar craft.
You can park just a dozen meters from the water at Plage de Cavaliere, among the hills and forests. It gets busy, but there’s always a spot to settle. The roads along the Cote d'Azur run beside the blue water, taking you from one beach to the next, and here it’s a straight walk from the car into the sea.
