The owners were so kind that I wished I could speak French and chat with them. It also felt private, set apart in its own house, with a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast and parking were both excellent. One small navigation tip: Google sent us on a needlessly long route away from the nearest main road, so the real drive is about 10 minutes shorter than its directions suggest.

We had such a fun time with this lovely, funny couple. We’re already planning to come back next summer!

Monique and Jacques, thanks for such a lovely stay. The house fits beautifully into the landscape, and the exterior is tasteful. The pictures online don’t really show what it’s like in person, so it’s worth visiting even outside the season. Summer must be hard to beat. They made us feel very welcome from the start. And when you arrive, just keep driving all the way up, the place is there.

We had a very good breakfast right by the garden and pool. The guest rooms were lovely, and Mrs. Monnot was flexible and always available when we needed her. Communication was easy too. Thanks for everything.

We moved into the Rompé Coual neighborhood in August, and we’re really happy here.
