What I’ll remember most is how Gavin and Lori treated me. I misplaced my passport for a while, and Gavin calmly helped me work out what to do, including how to contact the American embassy if necessary. Once I found it, I was so relieved that I left my well-traveled bag behind by mistake. I came back the next day and they welcomed me warmly, with a nice chat and the charging cord I needed for my rental car. The stay itself was lovely too. 5 Grande Rue is a beautifully kept historic building, with artistic details that make it feel elegant but still comfortable and homey. I could really relax there. Their kindness made an already special stay even better.

We especially appreciated the care Gavin and Lori have put into making 5 Grande Rue such a pleasant place to stay. The old house and garden are lovely, the rooms delightful, and on a hot day the pool was very welcome. There’s also a handy EV charger. Gavin and Lori were so welcoming and helpful throughout. We had a most enjoyable stay and are grateful for their hospitality.

The table d'hôte and breakfast were both excellent, and our room was very nice too. Gavin and Lori gave us a warm welcome at their beautiful B&B, which also has a swimming pool.

After a long drive, it was great to cool off in the pool, and having private parking was welcome too. We stopped for one night at 5 Grande rue to break up our journey. It’s a wonderful old house, restored with care, and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Lori and Gavin were lovely hosts, and breakfast was excellent. I’d highly recommend 5 Grande Rue.

We were able to charge our electric car, and our bikes were safely behind the closed gate overnight. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the welcome was warm. We stayed one night on our way farther south. The lovely owners served a generous breakfast. Definitely recommend!
