We found a notice on the hotel door when we got to Le Mans saying the city had ordered it closed because it no longer met legal requirements, including fire and safety rules. Nothing online had warned us. We'd booked and paid for our room in advance, but luckily managed to get a room at the ibis around the corner.

The breakfast had plenty for us, with fruit, yogurt, croissants, bread, ham, cheese, and Nutella. We were travelling between England, France, and Spain with our young family, and this place worked really well. It's our second stay and we loved it again. The hotel was spotless, the people were lovely, the beds comfortable, and it was quiet at night. There was a nice warm shower, plenty of fresh towels, a fan and air conditioning unit, and blackout curtains for a bit of a lie-in. Would definitely recommend xx

We felt very welcome thanks to the friendly, helpful hosts. It's really handy for the station and the tram to the Le Mans circuit.

Just a few minutes from the train station, and the hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were attentive, smiling, and always around, and gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Breakfast had lots of variety and was served in a spotless dining area. I'd recommend it without hesitation!

We slept really well, with no noise to disturb us, and the mattresses were very comfortable. The rooms are large, spacious, and very clean. It's a beautiful, unusual hotel, and we were welcomed so warmly. The staff were incredibly attentive, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely come back.
