We’d definitely stay here again next time in Le Mans. The location is very central, with a bus stop right outside, a 15-minute walk from the train stations, five minutes to the shopping area, and 13 minutes to the old town and Cathedral Saint Julien. We arrived from Sable-sur-Sarthe around 11am yesterday, and the reception staff checked for us and found a room that had already been cleaned. That meant we could settle in instead of just leaving our bags before visiting the 24Hour Le Mans Museum. The room was a good size, with cooking utensils, serving plates, cutlery, two chairs, and lots of table space. There was also a table fan, a thoughtful touch in the warm weather, and the bed was very comfortable.

Nice hotel, and we could bring our two cats without an extra charge. The parking was full that day, so I’d recommend booking ahead. There’s free street parking overnight if you’re lucky enough to find a space, and paid parking just across the road. We paid 5 euros for the night.

We had a good stay for two nights, and I’d come back. The rooms were perfectly adequate, breakfast was good, and the parking for our bike, or a car, was excellent and very secure. The hotel is very central, but on a rather functional street corner, and it got quite noisy at night from a party or nearby bar. Our room didn’t have air conditioning, so we had to leave the window open because of the heat. Mostly pretty good.

We spent one night here with the family. The location was good, the place felt new, and the lobby was nice with friendly staff. There was a sofa bed for the kids, plus lots of street parking that’s free overnight. The room had a funny smell, the pillows were uncomfortable, and there were bugs, ants and the like, in the ceiling corners. It was dusty enough to set off my allergies. The sheets were covered in hair even though they’d supposedly been cleaned and the bed was made. There was no a/c, but the fans provided were okay.
