A lovely part of our France trip was getting to slow down in the Normandy countryside. There are lots of comfortable spots to sit and unwind at La Petit Manoir, and the farm animals are entertaining to watch. Igghins and Newton, the two dogs, were a treat too. The farmhouse feels both charming and comfortable, and Stephane made us feel at home with his excellent English and enjoyable conversations. It's about a 10-minute drive to Pont Audemer, 30 minutes to Honfleur, 40 to Rouen, and 50 to Entretat. We really loved our stay and would recommend it.

The restored house, dating back to 1792, has been done with so much taste. Outside, there's a big green yard with fruit trees and grazing animals, and despite being only a few minutes from the highway, it's wonderfully quiet. Stephan was a very nice owner, answered our requests, and was great to talk to in English. It works especially well for families with kids. This was the best memory of our summer trip, and we'd choose it again as our place to visit Normandi. I'd give it six stars.

The area has plenty to visit, but we were just as happy enjoying the little paradise and its beautiful natural setting. Stéphane and Fabien made us feel so welcome and took exceptional care of us in the charming house. We stayed four nights and will definitely come back. Thanks again for the wonderful moments together.
