We had a wonderful vacation here and felt really comfortable throughout our stay. The manager was fantastic and helped with everything, from restaurant suggestions to wine châteaux and lovely places to visit. The location worked well too, just a short ride from the wine areas, beaches, and city.

There was no mobile signal, and neither the room safe nor the air conditioning worked. We had two rooms, both damp, and the whole building felt very old and poorly kept. The staff didn’t speak English, and the menu was only in French. Breakfast was the usual very sweet French fare, with little else. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless absolutely necessary.

09.06.2011 We were cycling through the area ten years ago and stopped in with my wife. Even though we were both in cycling shorts, they welcomed us and invited us to eat. The food was delicious, and it made for a really nice break. If we’re back around there, we’ll give it another try.

The setting was lovely, and the staff were friendly. We ate here as part of a tour group, and all three courses were delicious. It was a perfect lunch stop on a wine tour. This review is only about the restaurant.

The back garden where we ate was the one good part. The food was okay, but I wouldn’t go back. There are much better places, though that’s just my opinion.
