Chalets du Bois de Vache

After our hike, we really enjoyed the sauna and the invigorating cold plunge pool. The chalet was cozy and well equipped, and our host was warm and accommodating. It's also an ideal spot for exploring some of the best hikes in the Drôme region.

The kids especially loved the mezzanine bedroom, the pool, and all the play areas, which had something for children and adults alike. Christine and Thierry made us feel very welcome: Thierry shared excellent advice, and Christine was so attentive and had great suggestions for things to do. The chalet is in a magnificent setting, and discovering the wood-fired sauna and its lovely cold plunge pool was a treat. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back. The owners were so friendly and easy to communicate with that everything went smoothly. We built a stone barbecue together, they showed us where to gather firewood in the forest and how to prepare the wood-fired sauna, and they even baked cakes for my 30th birthday. They were also fine with the big outdoor games we organized in their woods. The chalets were clean and well equipped, and the setting was magnificent. The swimming pool and cold plunge pool were a real bonus for anyone who enjoys a soak and a sauna. Thanks again to you both, I hope to return.

I needed some quiet time to recharge, and the nearby forest was lovely for a stroll. Christine gave me kind, thoughtful advice and really knows about well-being, while Thierry brought humor and nice little touches. Our family had a wonderful, almost timeless stay in Christine and Thierry's chalets, in a green setting that felt full of positive energy. The children had plenty of outdoor games in a shaded area and enjoyed seeing the animals on the property, while we kept an eye on them from the comfortable deck chairs. There was time to read under the trees, swim in the saltwater pool overlooking the fields, or relax in the sauna. We warmly recommend the chalets and this beautiful region.
