We drove 100 km to get here, dealing with traffic along the way. We arrived at 2, but there was no food available anymore, even though the online business hours said they were open until 4.

The sommelier knows their stuff, and the terrace has a breathtaking view. Here, classic dishes get a modern touch, and the food was succulent. It's a charming hotel-restaurant in the Drôme Provençale, at the foot of the former commandery, in a place full of history. The Hospitallers would have been delighted to dine here. The welcome from the old-school maître d' was warm, and the cuisine modern and refined.

The market menu was generous, full of delicious flavors, and beautifully presented. Service was attentive and friendly. This restaurant is in the heart of the hilltop village of Poet Laval, with a superb terrace overlooking the plain. I highly recommend it.

The food and wines were excellent and beautifully presented, and the price felt very fair. We had friendly, efficient, pleasant service in an idyllic setting, with an elegant terrace and magnificent views. A truly wonderful experience at Les Hospitaliers, highly recommend.
