The hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful, and the homemade cake at breakfast was a real treat. After cycling through a heatwave, the air conditioning, pool and cold beer were very welcome. Breakfast was excellent before we got back on the road the next day.

We had a lovely supper and a very good breakfast, and the bar area with its sofas was a nice place to relax. The room was comfortable, with a great bed, a modern shower and washroom, and air conditioning if needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A very good overnight stay for an average price.

We were glad to find a room here after everything in Bordeaux was booked, even though it meant staying 40 km away. The breakfast and dinner choices are limited, but the staff's hospitality and kindness were on another level. For a 2-star hotel, dismissing this place would be a big mistake. It was some of the best service I’ve had, and we had such a good time. Thank you, Hotel du Porge!
