Breakfast outside in the little patios was a treat, with generous servings, tasty baguettes and pastries from the bakery next door. If you like cheese in the morning, they’ll put some on your tray. The rooms and shared areas were spotless, and the hotel has a very family-friendly feel. The team was welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our short, blissful stay at the Albatros. Thank you all again.

The two staff members we met were lovely, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was plentiful and truly excellent, and we had a pleasant stay at this no-frills hotel. Being so central can mean some noise early in the morning or on a few evenings, so earplugs could come in handy. That’s one of the tradeoffs of the location, and it didn’t spoil our time. If we need a hotel in Le Pouliguen again, we’ll definitely choose this one.

The location in the town center is good, and breakfast was good too, though the tables are much too small. Parking is about 500m away. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel, since there was hardly ever staff around. Beyond the patio, there’s nowhere to sit outside your room, and the patio isn’t usable in bad weather. We had room 10, which was very small, with no wardrobe and only a shelf with hardly any room. Storage by the beds was limited too. The bathroom wasn’t well maintained, with dirt in the corners and along the edges. One of the two lamps didn’t work, and the shower was extremely cramped. The toilet paper holder made it impossible to sit straight on the toilet. There was also a rusty nail sticking out of an armchair, which tore my pants. I wasn’t hurt, thankfully. I told the man at reception, who was sorry but said he wasn’t responsible. I asked to speak with someone in charge because I wanted compensation for the damage. During our four-day stay, no one came to apologize or offer any compensation. There’s no responsible management. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was another highlight, with local food that was all delicious. The room was just right, with quality bedding, a lovely bathroom, and fresh, colorful decor. Right in the pedestrianized town center of Le Pouliguen, with parking nearby, this hotel gave us a warm welcome. We highly recommend it, we were very happy staying here.
