The castle is stunning, and its history makes the renovation seem like a huge undertaking. It has plenty of charm and could be a beautiful wedding venue, but the upkeep and service didn't live up to what a dream castle stay should be. Cleanliness fell short, and there were broken lights inside the room and outside. Service was disappointing from the start: the receptionist on the phone sounded condescending, check-in was disorganized, and most staff seemed pretentious rather than warm, though a few were kind. The details also need attention. The soap dispenser was mounted unusually high, even for a tall person, and the bathtub was poorly installed, with almost no splash protection and a noticeably unstable floor. The lack of refinement may leave you disappointed.

A beautiful, peaceful place. The food, service, staff, and atmosphere were all first class. Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The surroundings are stunning, and so is the service. I especially want to thank Honorine, who went far beyond what she had to do when my car wouldn't start. She printed documents for me and then translated when the mechanic arrived, making a stressful situation much easier to handle. I can't thank her enough. What a stunning place.

Even a single night at this castle is worthwhile for the magical atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and the dining is refined and carefully done, with prices that are more than reasonable. There may be a somewhat limited range of services for a five-star place, but the ambiance is enchanting. Dinner service was delightful. A very sweet young lady looked after us and made us feel pampered from beginning to end.

Our bedroom was spacious and had period furnishings. The chateau hotel and grounds are charming, peaceful, and relaxing. The restaurant was very good too, with beautiful presentation, local produce, and a friendly, knowledgeable team.
