The shower was blocked and water spilled into the bathroom. There was a lot of damp, including wet baseboards and other woodwork, and the room wasn't clean. We also had cockroaches in the room. A really bad stay.

This has the feel of a country inn and is a good place for a short stay, though I wouldn't choose it for a longer one. The walls between rooms are thin. The innkeeper warned us that thieves sometimes smash car windows to grab valuables, especially when they can spot a long-distance traveler by the license plate. Don't leave anything valuable visible in the car.

The beaches are close by, and we were welcomed warmly. I stayed at this hotel when I visited Roves and the area last year. Breakfast was nice too.

The shellfish platter was fantastic, and the dishes came in generous portions and were well prepared. The owner was very friendly.
