The two cats at the hotel were so friendly. Loved having them around. My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon stay. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were really friendly. Special thanks to Ange for the amazing hospitality. We also ate at the hotel restaurant, which felt like a proper restaurant worth going out of your way for, much better than a typical hotel restaurant. I’d definitely recommend eating there.

We were very disappointed during our one night stay on our South of France trip. We booked a “Deluxe Room” with a terrace, but the experience didn’t feel deluxe at all. The bed was comfortable, but sound carried terribly. I woke during the night because I could hear the vibration of the neighbor’s phone, and my partner could clearly hear people in the room next door talking. Breakfast was okay, though €37 per person was far too much for it. We chose the hotel mainly for the indoor pool. Before booking, we specifically called and were told it was 28°C, but the water was actually 17°C and unusable. Reception apologized and said they’d inform management, with no solution offered. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, with hair everywhere. We told room service and waited more than 30 minutes, but it still wasn’t properly cleaned until much later. The next morning there were ants all over the bathroom, which made the hygiene feel completely unacceptable. The place tries to look luxurious, but the materials and overall quality seem cheap. We travel often and stay in plenty of beautiful hotels, and this was by far our worst value for money. We definitely wouldn’t return or recommend it to anyone wanting a true luxury stay. At four stars and around €250 a night, it might have felt fair. At €500 a night, this level of quality is simply unacceptable.

The restaurant is another reason to come back. Julien is doing an amazing job at the helm, with cooking that’s genuinely Michelin calibre but still relaxed and unstuffy. I’ve worked in Michelin starred hotels and restaurants in London, so I know the difference between hospitality that’s performed and hospitality that people really mean. At Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire, it felt real throughout. When Air France lost our luggage, the team tracked it down, collected it themselves, and brought it back with a little helium balloon tied to the suitcase. They also quietly found us swimwear so our holiday could carry on. And the two resident cats wandering around the grounds make the place feel like somewhere you belong, not just a hotel. Huge thanks to Romain, Bianca, and everyone else on the team, including the people whose names we didn’t catch. Some places are a one time visit. This is somewhere we’ll return to.

I’ve stayed here twice now because I love this hotel so much. The views are amazing, and so is the gourmet breakfast. The reception and concierge team give wonderful service. Special thanks to Benjamin and Bianca from the concierge team, they’re amazing. A definite must stay.

We had a lovely, spacious room with a balcony. It was clean and modern, and Luca and Benjamin were especially professional and helpful. The staff were all great and always around when we needed anything. We stayed right after our wedding, with perfect weather and a beautiful setting. We couldn’t have asked for more. Every course at the hotel restaurant was a pleasure. We also had a great time at Monsieur Louis Le Tholonet, a relatively new restaurant five minutes away by car, with fantastic atmosphere and service. If you want a luxury spa getaway in a gorgeous Provence setting, I’d highly recommend it.
