The owners are lovely and happy to suggest places to eat or visit. The shared kitchen, with its long table, can bring a dozen people together, and you can book breakfast or, in season, a full dinner. Our room was clean and modern, with rainwater in use as part of the place's sustainable approach. It has a little oasis feel, with the garden full of vegetables beside the walking path and bikeway. The west-facing view means evening sun when the weather's good. It's a handy base for day trips on foot, by bike, or by car, and there's parking. I think bikes may be available to rent.
