We were six bikers and booked that lunchtime for the same night, with three twin rooms sorted out for us. The staff were friendly and really helpful, especially about finding garage space for our six large, expensive bikes, still fully loaded for a week's tour. It was our first night on European soil. The hotel sits by the harbour, with bars a short walk away, and we enjoyed the sea view from the glass lift outside. Breakfast was lovely. In the morning we wandered around the old town, rode the funicular through the cliffs, and watched the boats before setting off south.

We've stayed here before and would happily come back. The rooms are clean and warm, and there's a lift to some floors if you ask for it when booking and have limited mobility. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast is a buffet in a warm, clean room, with scrambled eggs available on request. There are no evening meals, but plenty of good restaurants are an easy walk away. Parking is limited, though they make that clear at booking and explain the other options. The car park entrance is very narrow, so take care. If you're on a motorcycle, parking is secure and no problem.

For the price, the quality is okay, and the location makes it easy to reach the center and the restaurant area. Parking is the downside: the hotel car park entrance is so narrow that it only suits small cars, and finding a space nearby isn't easy.

A lot of charm in this traditional hotel, and the views over town are incredible. The rooms can feel a bit cramped.

Our corner room looked out over the harbour and bay, which made our three-night stay extra enjoyable. The hotel is old, but that adds to its charm. It was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, with everything just a few minutes away on foot. On-site parking won't work for a wide car, but we found a spot less than a five-minute walk away, so it wasn't a real problem. I'd gladly stay here again.
