A great value place in a quiet village, easy to spot from the main road. The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. Our room was fine, with a comfortable double bed, shower, and sink. The toilet was shared and just outside the room. We had a great three-course dinner with a good choice of dishes. Rennes isn't far away, but this looks like an excellent, probably cheaper, place to stay instead.

We stopped for lunch on the drive back from vacation, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. The dishes were simple but refined, generous, and tasty from starter through dessert. We also enjoyed the recommended wine and local beer. The welcome and service were very pleasant, and the price was more than reasonable. We recommend it.

I've been coming here for seven years and have never been disappointed. It's a small family-run place, and you can tell that food quality and customer satisfaction matter to them. The dishes use fresh ingredients and are always nicely balanced in flavor. The sauces are excellent, and there's a varied, appetizing selection of meats.
