That breakfast was such a nice extra, with plenty of fresh pastries and warm bread. We only stayed one night, but the welcome was warm, the room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable. Highly recommend!

The owners are a lovely couple who live on site and look after everything, making the place feel like a dream home. It’s a beautiful, peaceful area, with a cozy atmosphere, quality service, artistic decor, and excellent food.

We had to postpone our charity bike trip until May 2026 after my son had an accident, so sadly we couldn’t make it. We tried to book this hotel for a later date, but were told it was too far ahead to rebook. We couldn’t get a refund either, which was really disappointing.

We were well looked after by the host and staff from arrival right through checkout. The dinners were amazing, and our cozy room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. The standard felt very close to a 5-star hotel, yet the price was affordable, which isn’t easy to find without giving something up. We’ll definitely return. I first stayed here on a business trip to Versailles earlier this year, after my usual hotel there wasn’t available. I came back with my husband for a short getaway, and it was just right for our Monet-themed holiday. We spent one day at Musee Marmottan Monet in Paris, with its world largest collection of Monet's paintings, then drove to Giverny the next day to tour the man's house and garden. I could easily have spent another day wandering around there.
