Gite La Source de Marzée Cottage

We’ve stayed here several times, and each visit has been better than the last. The guest house sits among rolling fields in the Loire Valley, with easy access to Saumur and Angers. There’s also a chateau just a few minutes’ drive away.

The Gite is beautifully presented and really well maintained. It’s in a lovely, peaceful location. Thoroughly recommend it, and thanks so much.

We loved our two weeks at La Source gîtes in July, and the peaceful setting made it incredibly relaxing. The complex and the surrounding area are beautiful, the bedding is very comfortable, and it was nice that bed linen and towels were included in the price. Sandrine and Pierre gave us a warm welcome, and we really appreciated their offerings of dinner on Monday and pizza on Friday. They also made it easy to meet some lovely people. We all had a wonderful holiday, including our daughters. Highly recommended. Anne, Stéphane, Manon, and Clara

The gîte kept my three children, aged 11, 6, and 2, happily entertained, with outdoor games, a heated pool looking out over the fields, three lovely bedrooms, and animals nearby. My partner and I especially appreciated how available and kind Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds were when we had questions, helping make our July 2022 stay as good as possible. Le Gîte de La Source de Marzée is also a great base for exploring places within 30km, including La Flèche Zoo, the Para Botanica park, cycling along the Loire River, hiking trails, Angers and Saumur, the castles at Baugé and Montgeoffroy, and Lake Malagué. A real treat for families looking for peace and simplicity. I highly recommend it for a family holiday.
