Résidence Marina Rossa

The house was spacious and comfortable inside, with very good beds and a well-stocked kitchen. It had a giant fridge and pretty much everything needed for cooking, apart from sharp knives. Outside, we loved the private garden and dining area, including a high-quality plancha. The shared pools were decent, sometimes crowded, but fine most of the time. For a two-week stay at this price, the small supply of basics was irritating: two dishwasher tablets, one rubbish bag, and two toilet rolls. You can ask for more, but being told you're meant to buy them yourself felt poor value. There was no cleaning during the two weeks, and we also had to vacuum before checkout. I know it isn't a hotel, but we have a cleaner at home every week, and vacuuming on holiday isn't something I enjoy. We also never received check-in instructions, and the owner didn't answer the phone. We had to figure out how to get in ourselves, like an escape game in reverse. Probably just a hiccup, but still.
