Hotel Du Parc Fougeres

The breakfast buffet had a wide selection, including plenty of local food. Our room was roomy, clean, and peaceful, and the staff were very helpful. The pool was nice, though you need to reserve a time slot first. It was easy to find and quiet despite being near the road, and parking was free and private. I’d happily recommend it.

The staff were warm and welcoming. Most French people might not try speaking English, but they made an effort to help us understand. Special thanks to Mr. Christopher on the night shift at the lobby, who helped arrange an ambulance when my wife had a medical emergency. The pool was a real highlight, brand new and very clean, and the changing room had a luxurious feel. There’s also a gym you can use anytime without booking. Cleanliness throughout was superb, the best I’ve seen in a hotel. The simple room design and practical setup meant we had everything we needed. We’d expected less because the price was affordable, but BRIT HOTEL was a great find for a three-star place. Mont Saint Michel is only about 40 minutes away, and it’s a lovely place to enjoy the warm pool and spa. We’ll definitely recommend BRIT HOTEL Fourgeres. Great job, and thank you!

We got a room that worked really well for our baby, with things kept up high and a quiet floor and bed. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve had on this trip, and the desk service was exceptional. We arrived on a holiday when everything was closed. One concierge drove me to the only market that was still open, and another brought up a full place setting for two so we could have a private picnic in our room with what we’d bought. This has been my best stay in 12 days of traveling around France. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Check-in was listed as 3 pm, but I got my room at noon. The pool was good, though there were lots of security deposits: €150 for the hotel, refundable and on top of the room price, plus more security money to use the sauna. I didn’t ask how much the sauna deposit was. What can you damage? They must have had some bad guests in the past to bring in all these security payments.
