The room was clean and modern, and one facing the valley has a great view. The restaurant was a highlight too: I ate there twice and both meals were very good. They serve a more refined take on local southern cooking, with smaller portions but quality ingredients and excellent preparation and presentation. The set lunch is good value. The staff impressed me most, taking time to explain the menu in English and check that everything was to my liking. That's almost "unFrench," and I mean that as a compliment. It's a very nice hotel with great staff and some of the best food around.

The hotel has a perfect location, air conditioning, a swimming pool, and the charm of a beautiful old building. The owner made us feel welcome at our table, then later gave us a lesson on Armagnac. He and a few others deserve five stars. Some staff, though, acted as if our hiking boots and walking sticks didn't belong and treated us as lesser guests. The other walkers seemed to have paid more and had better rooms, while we were put in the maid's rooms on the top floor. Dinner was good, the wine was expensive, and breakfast was excellent. Chamina Voyage had booked us here during our Chemin de St. Jacques de Compostelle.

The staff were friendly and excellent, and the hotel is lovely and well placed for seeing the region. We had a wonderful meal on the first night at the restaurant, which has real potential, but the €39 menu was limited. They served the same menu the next night, and that meal wasn't great. If you're there more than one night, I'd find somewhere else in town for dinner the second evening.

The pool was fabulous, the wifi worked well, and the staff were very good. We enjoyed the excellent set-menu dinner, and breakfast was included. The lovely hotel is only 50 m from the main road through the old town, so it's quiet. Lectoure is lovely too, and the Chemin de Jacques passes by. Highly recommend.

The staff were very welcoming, and we liked the terrace and atmosphere. We tried the seasonal menu. It looked good, but the flavors didn't have much depth. Nothing was bad, just not very impressive for the price.
