The supper was very good, and the service was friendly. We stayed for one night on July 2nd, the last day of our week long hiking tour on the GR10. It’s an old hotel, but well kept, with spacious, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Lovely place.

The meat was delicious, tender and full of flavor, and the prices were very reasonable. This is an authentic, no-frills, family-run inn with strong local roots. Everything comes from the farm right next door, so the supply chain is very short. It’s right in the heart of the Basque Country, with a pelota court opposite. Worth a visit even when it’s raining.

Everything from the starter through to the delicious desserts was enjoyable. The welcome was wonderful, and they use high-quality local products, preparing and cooking the meat with care. Thank you for your kindness and dedication, from raising the animals to serving the food. A must-see in the region.
