Hotel Evan

The big fenced lawn was a real plus for traveling with our dog, and every room opens onto the gardens. Though it’s just off the A75, the place feels like a country retreat. A lovely young couple run it, and the service made this one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. For under 75 Euros each, we got a perfectly decent room, a comfy bed, a delicious homemade three-course dinner with drinks, and a full buffet breakfast. It’s not a cute Chambré d’ hôte or a fancy five-star, but it has everything you need. Great value.

We broke down on the way, but couldn’t have been in a better spot. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and their good English helped with our lack of French. The room was great and very well priced. Lovely food in the restaurant too. I’d highly recommend this place.

The food was really good and well priced, and there’s a nice terrace out back. Rooms were very clean, with a very comfortable bed. I was pleasantly surprised, since at first it looked like a cheap motel. A good choice when you’re on the go.

After a long drive, the warm welcome was lovely. We stopped for one night on our way to the south of France. The room was very clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel restaurant served lovely food.
