Soleil Rouge

We had a wonderful holiday here. The owners were welcoming but discreet, the view was magnificent and the pool was clean. It felt a bit warm, though it was very pleasant on hot days. The accommodation was lovely, but the bed was a little hard, and we could have used more cutlery and crockery. Thank you to Chantal and her husband.

We stayed in the "Coquelicot" apartment with our little puppy and had a wonderful time. It’s a little apart from the other places, with its own garden and pool, where you can sit with a glass of wine at sunset in complete peace. Set among the greenery and quiet of the Esterel Park, the apartment has everything you need and was very clean. Chantall, the owner, was always kind and helpful. The accommodation itself was very nice, but the walls were so thin that we had a sporty neighbor. We weren’t told that all the rental guests would cross our plot to get to the washing machine, which was especially great when it was on spin. The owner also overlooked our terrace and kept up endless conversations. We only got the welcome gift after four days, as if the owners needed to size us up and decide whether we deserved a present. Be careful with children, there are exposed electrical wires in the kitchen.

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the cottage was well equipped. There’s even a 160 cm bed, plus a pool with a solarium and a magnificent view of the Esterel massif (Mont Vinaigre). We would have liked to stay a few more days. If you want a peaceful holiday, go for it!
