There are three separate houses. We were comfortable in ours, where the heating was electric. The people staying in the big house, though, spent four days indoors wearing anoraks because the gas heating wasn’t working, and the problem was never fixed. It was -9°C on our last night.

The house is cute, clean and well looked after, and it was a pleasure staying here. The owner is a very nice person, and Lily (the Pyrenean Shepherd) is adorable.

I loved it here. The scenery was superb, the view went on and on, and the cottage felt so welcoming.
