The setting made our lunch feel special, with shade from the sun and a lovely view over the pool and surrounding scenery. The dish of the day was tasty, light, and great value, and the service was prompt, friendly, and professional. A lovely spot. I hope it gets a mention in the Michelin guide someday.

The room was damp and cold, even though we had booked a suite, and the plastic sheet on the bed felt sweaty and made a lot of noise when we tried to rest. For €350 a night, the quality just wasn't there. Dinner at the restaurant on our first night, just before Christmas, arrived cold too. We cut our stay from four nights to two because the village had no dinner options open. That wasn't the hotel's fault, but it made the trip difficult. The woman who welcomed us was wearing her outdoor coat inside, which I could understand given how cold the rooms were. I wouldn't recommend coming here in winter.

We brought our two dogs and found some wonderful walks right beside the hotel. The place itself is full of charm, and the location is magnificent. We had a lovely three-night stay.

We had a delicious, carefully planned four-course meal, and the staff were attentive throughout. The restaurant is in a beautiful old medieval village, and the building and setting are stunning. Everything was perfect.

Lovely views, delicious food, and a beautiful pool area in a place that feels both authentic and very pretty. A special thanks to the woman at reception who was learning English and made us feel so welcome.
