This suited our ski trip perfectly, with the ski-in, ski-out access we wanted. The flat felt a little small for five people, but sleeping everyone was no problem. It’s really set up for skiing rather than privacy, which was fine for us. Bring sheets or sleeping bags, since none were provided, though there were comforters. The cute town is only a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants and ski rental options. The taxi from the train station was great, but the driver spoke only French. He was really nice, and we managed with Chat GPT as our interpreter. 😁

It’s peaceful, with views of the mountains or snow-covered trees, and about a 7-9 minute walk from the village center. Getting around takes some effort, though. There’s no nearby car access, and you have to reach the village center to catch the ski lifts. The route includes uphill paths and stairs, followed by several floors of climbing when you arrive, which is especially hard with skis and boots on your shoulder. I’d say it suits younger, fit people or experienced hikers better. It’s not ideal for older guests.

The balconies facing the mountain have magnificent views of the black horse and the Niélard. You’re ideally placed right on the slopes and close to the centre.

It’s a nice residence and a great family ski resort, but getting back from the slopes or village can be tough when the uphill climb is covered in snow and ice. I wouldn’t recommend it for older people or anyone with reduced mobility.
