Club Med Valmorel

The ski instructors were excellent, patient, and professional, and they worked really well with adults and children. Learning and improving with them was a pleasure. We also met some great staff: Yohann, Jeremy, and Bruno at the bar; Jesus and Guilherme from Rio das Pedras; Victoria in the boutique; Jessica and Mohamed at reception; Leonel from cuisine & wine; and Anael and Nicole from ESF. We had a good family stay at Club Med Valmorel, and the resort itself is beautiful and organized. But its schedule made it hard to have a stress-free ski holiday. It felt like we were always going back and forth. Not everyone was friendly or attentive, and the common bathrooms smelled bad, possibly because of a pipe problem rather than a lack of cleaning. We felt we'd overpaid for the holiday. It's suitable for families, but we won't go back. We'd rather try other ski-focused resorts.

We stayed in a Chalet with a perfect ski-in/ski-out spot. The hotel food was good, though the place can get very busy around breakfast and dinner. The ski pistes were well prepared, and the Nordic walks were amazing.

The mini club staff were fantastic, and the shows were really good, with lots of talented dancers and actors and good choreography. The staff overall were amazing. The pool and jacuzzi felt a bit cold, but the hammam was great. Our room was too small, and the closet was tiny, so unfortunately we had to use a suitcase for storage. The dining room was a bit messy, which made it hard to enjoy the variety. At lunch, the beer ran out, and so did the nuggets, with no more available. I last visited Club Med nine years ago and remembered it better.

I had so much fun at Club Med Valmorel! Everyone on staff was amazing, especially Yona, Ryan, and Sully. They made the teen activities feel really inclusive, with fun games and challenges that helped us bond. I met so many new friends. We'd definitely recommend this place!
