Mas de l'Oulivié

Good value for the money. It's a country resort a short drive from the les baux-de-province castle, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The large rooms are quiet, with good showers, air conditioning, robes, and other amenities. There's an outdoor pool, plus breakfast and ebikes available for a fee.

The room felt badly outdated, with 80’s furniture, and needs updating. There was even wet paint on the fridge knob, which got on my hands. The locked parking enclosure made loading and unloading difficult, and the bath door handle jammed, trapping my wife in the toilet room. As the map shows, you're not near anything. The bar restaurant seemed overpriced, around $28 for four pieces of cheese. They overcharged me for breakfast, but I got it deducted from the bill at checkout. This wasn't the “Provance Experiance” one hopes for.

The Mas feels like visiting an old friend, which is why we keep coming back. It's an unpretentious little gem, ideally placed near Les Baux, Fontvielle and Marsanne. Enjoy!

We spent a long weekend here and were very pleased with our choice. The rooms are excellent in size, cleanliness, and decor. The staff are friendly, professional, and ready with help and good advice. The weather didn't cooperate, so we couldn't use the pool, but the pool area looked very nice. We'll definitely be back.
