A21 Roc de Péclet

We stayed for a week in January 2025. The location was great and the room was basic, but it worked for our group. The trouble started after we left. We left the apartment at 4am in reasonable condition, though the floor needed sweeping and the bathroom and kitchen needed cleaning. They took a €150 cleaning fee. We weren’t sure the place had to be spotless, so we were willing to accept that. They also charged €50 for late checkout, despite our 4am departure, and €200 for the apartment keys, which we put in the mailbox at the apartment. They say they can’t access it. Even if that’s true, I doubt cutting two sets of keys costs €200. They took €433 in total. I can’t help feeling they use this to take large chunks from tourists’ deposits once they’ve left the country and can’t dispute the charges. I emailed a week ago and still haven’t heard back.

It’s right on the slopes and conveniently close to shops, restaurants and other things. The downside is that the building is quite worn, and many apartments show substantial wear and tear.

The apartments were perfect.

The ski-in, ski-out location is great.
