The deposit is way too high. Better to use Airbnb. All the apartments are dirty, and you have to clean before checkout if you want your deposit back!

We’ve rented an apartment in Val Thorens through this agency three times now, and I’ve found them very professional, with apartments of very good quality. I especially appreciated how kind they were when I had to cancel a December trip because of illness and a death in the family. They refunded the full booking, which I wouldn’t have expected and which very few agencies or apartment owners would do. That kindness meant a lot during a difficult time in my life. I’ll always book my ski apartments through this agency now.

The chalet wasn’t as advertised, though credit to the photographer, they deserve a raise. It also wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived: there were cobwebs, dirty tissues in the bedroom, and dirty plates in the cupboards. The front door was often left open, which is unacceptable given the rampant theft in the resort. The ski lockers aren’t secure either. We had a full set of skis, boots, and poles stolen from ours, and none of the keys we were given worked for that locker. Towels weren’t provided. We had to rent them for 14EUR/person, which is outrageous for the price of the week. They provided a fondue set but not towels? The altercation happened after checkout. We paid 210EUR for cleaning and expected to leave without hassle. We left a few bin bags and dirty plates in the sink, but the chalet was otherwise orderly. The cleaners shouted at us about “disrespect.” When I went to inspect the rooms, a staff member physically assaulted me and screamed at me for trying to document what they were talking about. Then they took my phone. The rooms were in good order, with just those few dirty plates, which seems more than acceptable for the fee. Three other men then verbally abused the rest of our party, shouting that they were a “disgrace” and asking what their parents would think of them. It was a pathetic series of insults. They threatened to take our deposit to extort us further. See the video attached. I’ve reported this to the police and will report it to the local council. This behavior is entirely unacceptable. Take every other negative review seriously and look elsewhere. If I could rate it 0, I would.

I always read the reviews, and the ones for Immobilier didn’t sound very promising. But the apartment was amazing for the price we paid. Great room for the money.
