CGH Résidence&Spa Les Clarines (MEN173)

We were assigned a room adapted for disabled guests without being told in advance. It wasn’t a major concern at first, but it became inconvenient over time. Small basics like topping up toilet paper also aren’t provided automatically, so guests have to handle that themselves. The room looked tidy at first, but the cleanliness wasn’t good enough for the price. There was a lot of dust, most of the dishes were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them, and we found blood stains on the bed linen. That was particularly unpleasant. The spa was a mixed experience. Guests get only one towel, so you need to bring your own or buy another. The spa is for ages 16 and up. Children can use the pool but not the jacuzzi or saunas, and the pool was quite cold, so they couldn’t enjoy it for long. The description makes the ski-in/ski-out location sound very convenient, but we still had to carry our skis, and it wasn’t as close to the slopes as suggested. For what we paid, we expected much better comfort and cleanliness. We wouldn’t book here again.

A funny moment turned into a memory we’ll have for life. After a very creative session in the snow, we built an impressive 3-meter sculpture that, well, had to come down 😂 Caspard handled it with professionalism, a laugh, and no bad vibes at all. Then the staff surprised us with an official certificate for our “performance” and a bottle of rosé. That kind of humor, generosity and care for guests is something special. The beautiful place and atmosphere were great too, but it was the legendary staff that made this stay unforgettable. Best staff ever. We’d 100% come back.

We’ve had such a good time here. The staff are really friendly and the service is incredible. For skiing, the location’s perfect, just a few metres’ walk and you’re on the slopes.

We had a very good holiday here. The balcony was large and the view beautiful. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very usable, and the bathrooms were clean and warm. Great facilities too, including ski lockers with dryers.
