The staff were very friendly, there was a nice bar, a spa, and an okay rental shop with great staff. The nearby community pool was a good alternative to the facilities onsite. There’s a pleasant sun deck too. From what I could tell, it may work well for families: there were tons of happy kids around and some activities for them. For me, though, it felt more like a hostel or dorm. The beds were short and cot-like, with just one pillow. I was on the first floor, and it smelled strongly of a school cafeteria from the kitchen below. Amenities were very bare minimum. The spa was small with limited time slots, and the sauna was broken all week. We got one towel per person, changed only twice a week, which can be tricky on a ski trip. There was no iron in the room, I had to ask for a hairdryer, and they provided only a shampoo soap bar. There was just one power socket in the room. Everything felt stingy. Families with little kids seemed content, and the price was competitive, so maybe it’s right for some people. Next time we’d pay more for somewhere else or just get a condo. It was an unpleasant stay, with bad sleep and an aching body from the bed. Even the iron being chained up made me feel like a burden instead of a guest.

The ski room was awful to use. It was constantly flooded, with a completely wet floor that made it hard to walk through without soaking your socks. The strong unpleasant smell and excess moisture made it a miserable place to start a ski day. See attached photo. The spa was a big letdown too: the jacuzzi was cold, the dry sauna didn’t work, and only the steam sauna was running. The rooms were extremely small and uncomfortable to move around in, and the beds made it hard to sleep well. We hadn’t been told ahead of time that towels are replaced only twice a week. When we asked for clean ones, staff argued instead of offering a reasonable solution. Being expected to reuse dirty towels is unacceptable. It’s hard to see how this hotel gets a 4-star rating, since that doesn’t match reality. We won’t return and don’t recommend it. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, a major disappointment.

The food was terrible, almost inedible, and the service was poor and unhelpful. The spa was only open at limited times, and the shower water there swung between freezing and extremely hot, with no proper way to regulate it. The rooms were so small that two people could barely stand comfortably in the hallway. The beds were very uncomfortable, there was no shampoo in the shower, and towels weren’t changed regularly. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, and it was a huge disappointment. The ski room smelled strongly of mold, and the carpet was soaked, making it unpleasant and difficult to walk through. The lockers were far too small and barely fit the equipment. Despite the claim, this wasn’t a true ski-in/ski-out hotel. You have to walk and cross a road to get to the slopes. A very bad stay, and not worth the price. I definitely won’t return.

The rooms are tiny, the carpets are dirty, and there isn’t a socket by the bed. The food was hit or miss, with dirty cutlery often and strange meat substitutes. I sincerely hope the person who decided towels should only be replaced twice a week, and then refused to change them, gets stuck with dirty towels at home. This place is skimping on less than the bare minimum. I recommend avoiding it.

This was the worst 4-star hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms are tiny and poorly lit, the mattresses are lumpy, and the fittings feel cheap. The spa is basically nonexistent: it’s closed for hours during the day, and you can only get in by booking days ahead. Don’t come expecting a modern 4-star hotel experience.
