The staff made us feel welcome all week, and dinner was outstanding every evening. It was table service, not a buffet, which was a nice change from our other holidays. The hotel felt intimate and calm, and everything was immaculate. We had a suite with a sauna room, comfy beds, soft towels and bedding, and a big jacuzzi bath. We missed having a balcony for ski days, though this room didn’t have one, and I’m not sure whether the others do. It didn’t spoil our stay. There’s a short walk back after skiing, slightly uphill, but it really wasn’t too bad and the hotel was worth it. We’ve just come home from a wonderful week.

We had a comfortable, good-sized room, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, and they even put together a very good packed breakfast for the day we left. The only downside was the 100m uphill walk back after skiing.

The bar has lovely views over Val Thorens, and the spa is brilliant, so be sure to book it if you stay. Our room was snug but cosy and very comfortable. The restaurant food was good, though it was a little nut-heavy for us. My partner has a nut allergy, which limited our options on some days. Hotel 3 Vallees is in a great spot, about a 30-second walk from the slopes and a minute or so from local restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Sebastien at reception, who was brilliant. My only criticism is that there’s no lift. After a day of skiing, the three flights of spiral stairs are surprisingly hard work.

Our whole group especially appreciated the exceptional food each evening. Congratulations to the chef. Hotel 3 Vallees in Val Thorens gave us everything we needed for a dream week. The room was comfortable, the services were four stars, and all the staff were friendly.

The ski slopes are only about 50 meters away, and we loved the beautiful mountain view from our clean, cozy, comfortable room. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and we’d definitely come back.
