Good hotel, especially for ski-in, ski-out, though it’s a bit of a trek into town. I’m not sure why, but all three rooms we booked smelled of sewage the whole time, so take that into account.

We had a comfortable stay in the apartments, and I couldn’t find anything to fault. There’s lots of space, a well-equipped kitchen, attractive design and heating you can adjust yourself. The centre is a short walk away. The ski access works as advertised: leave the ski room onto a run that leads to several lifts, and you can ski back into the room from some runs at the end of the day. Pool and saunas were a lovely extra after skiing. We also liked having fresh baguettes delivered each morning, with croissants or chocolate buns as options. The staff were nice and helpful. I’d happily recommend it and would definitely return.

The restaurant is excellent. The hotel is very good too, with the best ski-out access, though it’s a bit far from the centre for youngsters.

There were eight of us across two four-bed apartments, and we all had a great time. The apartments were clean and well equipped, with easy access to the slopes and to both the upper and lower parts of Val Thorens village. Staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. We’re planning to come back in March, and I’d recommend the place to others.
