Le Val Thorens, a Beaumier Hotel

The staff made a fantastic two-week stay even better, and they were helpful at every turn. Special thanks to Louis in the bar, and Charlotte, Leah and Axel at Reception. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the staff there were lovely and polite. My room wasn’t huge, but it was very nice and cleaned spotlessly every day. I was thrilled to get an upgrade overlooking the slopes. This is definitely ski-in, ski-out: your secure ski locker opens with your room card and is heated, so your gear is dry the next morning. Walk out through the automatic door, take about 20 steps, and you’re skiing. It’s just as easy coming back. The heated pool is a good size, with four wall jets at different heights to massage your feet, thighs, lower back and upper back. I actually liked that more than a hot tub. There’s also a sauna and a steam room (Humum), and robes and slippers are provided for the pool. It’s a wonderful hotel right on the snow. Thanks for a fantastic stay 😁

The dinners were the highlight of our half-board stay: plenty to choose from, all very good, and the restaurant team were so polite and kind. The hotel is right by the slopes, with handy lockers for our gear. Our room felt a little small for what it cost, though the lovely mountain view helped. The lift could also take a while at busy times, and a hotel this size could use two.

The spa was a real plus, with a lovely pool and saunas, and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Getting onto the slopes was easy, with restaurants and shops nearby too. The service was impeccable, everyone was helpful and incredibly polite. One of the best ski hotels we've stayed in. We'd happily recommend it.
