Lodji Hotel

We only ate at the Lodji restaurant, so can't comment on the rest of the hotel. The bar and restaurant were great, with lovely views from the window. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and they brought out free peanuts and popcorn. Drinks arrived quickly and were great; the hot chocolate looked gorgeous too. Our server Justine was lovely and patient with our limited French. Overall, a great meal with friendly service.

This was our second stay, and the quality was even better than last year. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was great, and the restaurant had a broad menu with very good food. The location is perfect, just 50 meters from the lift. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

What a lovely surprise for everyone. The hotel sits in a charming little village at the edge of a huge ski area, and the place feels like a work of art. There was lively après-ski, a delicious dinner, a cozy night, and an inviting breakfast, all of it thoughtfully done. Natural wood gives it a calm, healthy feel. Vegans and vegetarians are catered for too, with a satisfying breakfast before heading to the slopes. A real treat, thank you! 🙏

The team were all friendly, polite, and clearly well intentioned. I suspect the inconsistency comes from the restaurant manager not being on the ball. The restaurant itself is lovely, well laid out, and has a nice atmosphere, but it is hard to justify spending over €150 per person each night for this level of service. We ate there on four nights and had much the same experience each time. Drinks took more than 25 minutes to arrive, and we had to ask for water three or four times on many nights because staff kept forgetting. Wine sometimes arrived before our aperitifs, despite our explaining it was for after the first drink. On two of the four nights, we had to order the wine twice. Our table also didn't get bread on two evenings, while other tables did. These little lapses made the experience feel careless and inconsistent. The food was quite good, but nothing special. The blood sausage and the anchovy starter were the only dishes that stood out to me. Nothing was bad, and with six of us we tried many dishes over the four days, but there are better restaurants in the village. The main issue is that the attention to detail was lacking in several areas, which doesn't feel worth the price.
