We had a renovated apartment on the 5th floor, and it was quite nice and well equipped. Still, the building dates from 1972, and the nightlife noise around it isn't something a renovation can fix. The street and building were loud at night, so we couldn't open the window in the bedroom that had one. The other bedroom was tiny and windowless, which made it hard to sleep there if you don't like a warm room. Val Thorens is probably the best ski resort I've ever visited, but the apartment wasn't worth its high price. I can't recommend the building unless you're a young adult looking for somewhere to party.

The Wi-Fi was good and there was always enough hot water. The apartments are nice, with probably the best spot in town if you want to go out at night. The ski area is a 12-minute walk away. Nothing major to complain about.

There weren't any power sockets near the beds, and even the boiler didn't work. The room meant for six people was tiny, even with just five of us staying there. There was no Wi-Fi at all, not even a paid option. What kind of residence has no Wi-Fi in 2019?

It'll do if you're young, watching your budget, and want to ski and get a drink at night. The apartments aren't the cleanest, though they're well equipped. Families should look elsewhere.
